Other speakers play it safe, but Clarke takes risks. He encourages participants in his motivational seminars to do the opposite of what most people do. "I had a good friend whose stepfather happened to be a multi-millionaire," Clarke says. "He would say, 'Listen, most people aren't successful in life. Just look around at people and do the opposite of what they do, and you will have what few people have-success!' So, when I was fifteen years old, I sent away for a course on how to be successful in real estate. While my friends were closing down bars in college, I was closing deals in real estate. I ended up buying my first apartment building when I was eighteen." That was only the beginning. Clarke went on to serve in management for an American Top 10 Fortune 100 Company. He was so effective in management that he was recruited as a Senior Consultant within a prominent sales training and business consulting firm with affiliate locations throughout the United States and Canada. It was this experience and his client's demands that led him to launch his full time key-note speaking career in 1996. Clarke has been consistently and positively changing people's lives through his personal and business programs ever since.
